January 17^th, 1995 an earthquake  magnitude of 6.8 hit the city where I was brought up in, Kobe.  My father and brother lived there at that time.  Fortunately, within hours of the earthquake we had word from them that they were safe.

It’s 15 years since the Kobe earthquake, and Haiti was hit with a magnitude of 7.  Many were not as fortunate as we were to see their loved ones alive. Panic and frustration is what comes to mind when I think of this situation.

This is why I’m teaming up with my dear friend, Natalie Carstens of Tigscreations Photography, and together, we’ve joined the Helping Hearts initiative to try to do something to help. But, we need you, too! Please help us help the victims of Haiti’s earthquake.

Here’s how:

You and your sweetheart could win a romantic photo session on-location in the heart of Den Haag, Gouda or Utrecht!

• This session will be photographed by myself AND Natalie and will be held in the late-afternoon/evening of Saturday 17th April 2010. This gives you plenty of time to shop and find a babysitter, if need be
• Session is for up to 2 adults and will last between 1-2 hours.
• Winner will also receive 25 fully processed, high resolution images on CD. Print to your heart’s content!

How to win:

• Make a MINIMUM donation of €25 to Giro555. Please do this online via e-cumlaude so that you receive a receipt for your donation.
• If you pay by iDeal, be sure to check the box for “Stuur de betaalbevestiging naar mijn e-mailadres” and enter your email address to ensure you receive a receipt for your payment. Then, forward a copy of your receipt to haiti@tigscreations.com.
• All entries must be RECEIVED by midnight (GMT+1) on January 31st 2010.
• Winner will be drawn at random and announced on Monday 1st February 2010.
• You can enter as many times as you’d like, but each entry must be the minimum €25 donation.

Other details:

• Session participants must sign a model release.
• Session must be held in Den Haag, Gouda or Utrecht on 17 April 2010.
• If the winner does not claim his/her prize by Wednesday 3rd February 2010 or cannot claim the prize, then another winner will be drawn.

Het is 15 jaar na de aardbeving in Kobe en Haïti is getroffen door een aardbeving met een kracht van 7.1. Velen hadden niet het geluk dat wij destijds hadden om hun geliefden levend terug te zien. Paniek en frustratie is wat ik me herinner wanneer ik aan deze situatie terugdenk.

En daarom ben ik gaan samenwerken met mijn goede vriendin Natalie Carstens van Tigs Creations Photography en samen hebben we ons aangesloten bij het Helping Harts initatief om iets te den om te helpen. Maar we hebben jou ook nodig! Laat ons alsjeblieft de slachtoffers van de aardbeving op Haiti helpen.

Hier is hoe:

Jij en je geliefde kunnen een romantische fotosessie in hartje Utrecht, Gouda of Den Haag winnen!

• De sessie wordt gefotografeerd door mijzelf EN Natalie en wordt gehouden in de namiddag/avond van Zaterdag, 17 april 2010. Dit geeft je genoeg tijd om een oppas te vinden als dit nodig mocht zijn.
  
• De sessie is voor maximaal 2 volwassenen en zal 1 tot 2 uur duren.
• De winnaar zal 25 volledig bewerkte, hoge resolutie afbeeldingen op CD. Maak zoveel afdrukken als je wilt!

Hoe kun je winnen?

• Maak MINIMAAL € 25 over op giro 555. Doe dit alsjeblieft online via e-cumlaude zodat je een afschrift van je donatie krijgt.

• De winnaar zal willekeurig worden getrokken en bekend worden gemaakt op maandag 1 februari 2010.
• Je kunt zo vaak meedoen als je wilt, maar iedere donatie moet minimaal € 25 zijn.

Overige details:

• Sessie deelnemers moeten een modelovereenkomst tekenen.
• De sessie moet plaatsvinden op 17 april 2010 in Den Haag, Gouda of Utrecht.
• Wanneer de winnaar zijn/haar prijs niet uiterlijk 3 februari 2010 bevestigd of de prijs niet kan ontvangen dan zal een andere winnaar worden getrokken.
